..Welcome to Everyday Superbikes
November
November has been a bit of a mixed bag where the weather is concerned. Unfortunatley due to the weather and other commitments we only managed to get out just the once, which was the last weekend of the month.
Col and Myself decided that as the sun was out and the sky was blue we should make the most of it and do a local route taking in a coffee stop at the cafe at Quatt on the Bridgnorth Road. Jon was busy having his nostrels plucked or something so couldnt make it.
The route was only about 30 miles and for atleast 20miles of it we were thinking warmer gloves and clothing would have made sense. The tyres soon warmed up enough to give the kind of grip you want when getting into some of the better corners and breifly the cold was put to the back of your mind.
We arrived at the cafe and could see a definate drop off in the number of bikes, but was suprised to see as many as there was. The coffee warmed us up and after a quick chat we headed home as the temperature dropped by a few degrees into the mid single figures.
As its December now, we only have 2 oppotunities to get out on the bikes with Christmas and New year taking the other 2 weekends, but hope to do atleast one December ride, and use our winter gear.
